Tuition agreement:  In the event of ANY prolonged absence from school you will still be required to meet that tuition payment.   No refund will be granted if the student leaves center on his or her own accord or is removed from center due to an inability to adjust or is unable to function adequately or to comply with the rules and regulations of the center. 

 

Registration fee: This contract is not valid until the Registration Fee of $25.

 

Medical attention:  In the event that emergency medical attention is necessary, the school will endeavor to contact the parents, or if they are unavailable, their family physician.  The school has the right to engage a licensed physician to render such aid, as he may deem necessary for the benefit of the child.

 

public school holidays:  The center will be open all public school half days and certain holidays with a fee

Code of Conduct: 

 

To insure the quality and fairness to other children who want to benefit from the program, students who are consistently interruptive will be asked to leave the program. If a student’s behavior is not improved after three warnings, that student will be asked to leave permanently.  We strongly believe that the education of our children is of utmost importance among many parental responsibilities. The after school academy is a place where children can receive the attention and quality education they deserve.

THE ELIGIBILITY SCORES FOR THE 2012 HUNTER ENTRANCE EXAM ARE 689 IN ELA AND 722 IN MATH

THE ELIGIBILITY LEVEL 4 OR HIGH LEVEL 3 IN ELA FOR ADVANCED WRITIING CLASS

       To reduce the amount of our administrative work and keep our rates competitive, the total tuition shall be unchanged for the students who make semi-annual payments.  An additional $20 shall be charged on monthly payments.

 

       There will be a one-time $60 charge for exclusive testing materials including updated NYS ELA and Math tests. An extra $40 a semester for the Chinese classes taught by experienced teachers, Ms. Lily Tao and Ms. Lisa Tai.

 

       Students who are registered in our after school program can get discount for the writing classes of Mr. Gerard Flynn, Mr. Steven Ewashchyshyn and Ms. Alison Liven. With $10 extra in each class, a student will receive from our licensed NYS school teachers individualized writing plans and detailed essay writing assessments.
